Richard Baker, President of The Danberry Company, announced that Danberry has hired Tim Schlachter as Vice President of Business Development and Commercial Operations. The selection of Mr. Schlachter strategically bolsters Danberry’s presence in the commercial real estate market. “Tim brings decades of real estate experience including commercial and residential building, finance and development along with property management” Baker shared.
Mr. Schlachter is a graduate of St. Francis de Sales and The Ohio State University where he earned his degree in finance with a focus on real estate studies. He has over 20 years experience in commercial real estate, development and investment and was the founder and co-owner of the Buckeye Real Estate Group. Buckeye gained national attention through its construction of a home for the Frisch family which was featured on ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Addition.
"I am pleased to be part of this well established and quality company which is focused on the needs of the consumer. Danberry is innovative and it has increased consumer services and market share at a time when most brokerages are simply trying to survive," Schlachter stated.
“We are extremely pleased to have Tim join our team,” stated Danberry CEO, Lynn Fruth. “He is a quality individual who places great importance on personal relationships and serving the needs of not only his clients but also the community as a whole. He is highly respected in the community and fits our culture perfectly,” Fruth added. Mr. Schlachter has served on numerous boards and is past Chairman of the Toledo Children’s Hospital Board of Trustees.
The Danberry Company is recognized as one of the nation’s leading real estate brokerage companies and is the region’s market share leader. Danberry serves Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan with six offices and 220 agents and staff and is celebrating its 50th year in business. Danberry was recently ranked by RealTrends as the nation’s 171st largest brokerage based on unit sales out of an approximate 50,000 real estate companies.
